Adding Reminders and Searches to Netsuite Dashboard| 2020
Overview
Dashboard reminders and searches are quick and easy ways to identify information that can be used to help with your daily task. This manual will guide you through the steps of adding custom reminders and searches to your dashboard.
Requirements
Netsuite Account
Adding Reminders and Searches to Dashboard
From within Netsuite locate the house icon in the upper left corner. Click on it.
You should now be located on your Netsuite dashboard. In the upper right corner click on the ‘Personalize’ drop down menu.
From here you will have multiple options in which to add to your dashboard. For this tutorial we will concentrate on ‘Custom Search’ and ‘Reminders’.
Click on either custom search or reminders. They will now have been added to your dashboard.
Hover over the right corner of either option and select ‘Set Up’ from the three dots. If setting up a reminder portlet skip to step 10 otherwise continue on to step 6.
If setting up a custom search you will need to select the name of the saved search in order to provide the results. This should have been provided to you by the tech department. If you need assistance please contact tech@afgdistribution.com
Specify the number of results you want returned.
All remaining fields can be left with their default values. Click save.
You should now have a custom search available on your dashboard
If setting up a reminders list locate the reminders portlet you set up in step 5.
Click set up.
Locate and click on the name of the reminders list you wanted added to your dashboard. This should have been provided to you by the tech department. If you need assistance please contact tech@afgdistribution.com.
It should now be located under ‘Current Selections’.
Click Save.
You should now have a reminders list on your dashboard.
You can also display the reminders as a headline. Hover over the bottom right corner of the reminders portlet and select the pencil icon.
Select ‘Display as Headline’ checkbox. Click save.
Your reminders portlet should now be displayed as a headline.
