Color-Coding the Insider List
- Products to Remove
- Select the entire list
- Go to Data>Click on Sort Range
- Click Data has header row
- Sort By Definite
- Click Add another sort column
- Then by Sep 17 Page (or whatever the last issues was)
- Click Sort
- Scroll down the item list until you get to the last one marked Definite
- Find any products that have a Sep 17 Page number but are not marked as definite
- Put 1R in the Definite column for these products
- Change the font for these lines to red
- New Products
- Select the entire list
- Go to Data>Click on Sort Range
- Click Data has header row
- Sort By New
- Click Sort
- Find any products marked as new for Nov2017 (or whatever the current issue is)
- Put 2N in the Definite column for these products
- Change the font for these lines to green
- No Change (products staying from previous issue)
- Go to Data>Click on Sort Range
- Click Data has header row
- Sort By Definite
- Click Add another sort column
- Then by Sep 17 Page (or whatever the last issues was)
- Click Sort
- Scroll down the item list until you get past the ones marked 1R or 2N
- Find any products that have a Sep 17 Page number and are also marked as definite
- Put 3NC in the Definite column for these products
- Leave the font for these lines set to black
- Add Products (not new and not in previous issue)
- Go to Data>Click on Sort Range
- Click Data has header row
- Sort By Definite
- Scroll down to products marked definite, but have been set to 1R, 2N, or 3NC
- Put 4a in the Definite column for these products
- Change the font for these lines to orange
