UPS - Regenerating Access Tokens (ShipHawk & Netsuite) | 2025


The tutorial will instruct on regenerating

access tokens from within Netsuite.

Overview

UPS requires Access Tokens from NetSuite in order to display shipping rates on sales orders. These tokens must be refreshed periodically. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to update the access tokens.


Requirements

  1. Netsuite access and “Administrator” role.


Generating New Access Tokens

  1. Within Netsuite go to Setup > Accounting > Shipping 
  2. Within the “Set Up Shipping” screen, locate and click on the account number hyperlink for UPS.
  3. Within the “UPS Developer Kit Registration” screen click on the “Regenerate Tokens” button.
  4. You will be sent to the ups.com login screen.
  5. Enter “TechTacos” as the username, check the “By Continuing” box and click “Continue”.
  6. Enter in password associated with “TechTacos” username. If you do not have the password it can be located within Keeper.
  7. Click the login button. You should now be redirected back to Netsuite and prompted with a “UPS OAuth Tokens Successfully Regenerated” message.
